About the role

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to oversee guest transactions, maintain cash‑wrap standards, and drive loyalty results in a vibrant beauty retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and accurate guest transactions, handling sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintain cleanliness and aesthetics of the cash‑wrap area, replenishing displays and supplies.
• Train new cashiers and cross‑train associates, providing guidance on POS procedures.
• Support opening and closing register functions and conduct associate exit inspections.
• Promote Ulta Beauty’s loyalty program and engage guests with product recommendations.
• Book appointments and support in‑store services and events to enhance the guest experience.
• Monitor attendance and uphold store policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cashiering within a retail setting.
• Ability to lead, coach, and influence team members.
• Strong focus on guest service and loyalty initiatives.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.
• Passion for beauty products and delivering exceptional experiences.

Required skills

• Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Accurate cash handling and reconciliation.
