Job description

About the role

Our team supports Applied Materials’ spare parts business, ensuring semiconductor manufacturers receive the replacement parts needed to keep equipment running. We partner with internal customers, sales, supply‑chain and IT teams to design and improve the processes for ordering, planning and delivering spare parts.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog for tools and processes that support the spare parts business, balancing customer value, business impact and effort.
  • Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and work with development teams in an Agile/Scrum environment (sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews and retrospectives).
  • Meet with business users, customers and cross‑functional partners to understand their needs and translate them into product features and requirements.
  • Map current business processes, identify pain points and inefficiencies, and recommend and implement improvements.
  • Test and validate new features before release, and support user training, communication and adoption.
  • Track progress and results, and share regular updates with stakeholders and leadership.

Required profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or a related field (GPA 3.0+ preferred).
  • Strong learning mindset with the ability to learn quickly, apply feedback and demonstrate curiosity.
  • Willingness to collaborate effectively in a team environment and take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Professional and respectful communication with colleagues and customers.

Required skills

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Process‑mapping and documentation tools such as Visio, flowcharts, Lean or Six Sigma concepts (a plus).
  • Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP) or data‑analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL) (a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

What we offer

  • Salary range $60,000 – $77,000 per year.
  • Supportive work culture with comprehensive benefits, learning opportunities and potential bonus/stock awards.
