Night Shift Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Full-Time)

About the role

We are seeking a full-time night-shift Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team in Tyler, Texas. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse population ranging from newborns to seniors in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with physician orders, treatment protocols, and hospital policies.
• Assess patient needs, prioritize care, and develop individualized care plans using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients with acute injuries or illnesses.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent and an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current Texas RN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification before the end of orientation.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification before the end of orientation.
• National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification before the end of orientation.
• Preferred: 1 year emergency nursing experience, 2 years acute-care experience, and Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification.
