About the role
The National Manager, A&D & Commercial Sales drives specification activity, commercial project development, revenue growth, and market share across Architectural & Design and Commercial sales channels. This senior leader oversees a team of channel managers, collaborates with national accounts, and ensures alignment with the company’s Annual Operating Plan.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to increase specification activity and commercial project opportunities.
- Lead sales performance and market penetration across assigned territories (MA, IL, NY/NJ, NC, FL).
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, developers, builders, and general contractors.
- Partner with the National Accounts Manager to maximize national account opportunities.
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate a team of A&D and Commercial Sales Representatives.
- Support project tracking, specification conversion, and pipeline visibility.
Required profile
- Proven hands‑on sales leadership experience in specification‑driven selling.
- Strong background in quartz, porcelain, stone, tile, surfacing, or broader building‑materials industries.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key design and construction decision‑makers.
- Experience managing and developing high‑performing sales teams.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of quartz and porcelain surfacing products.
- Understanding of architectural and design specification processes.
- Ability to analyze market trends and competitive threats.
