Municipal Project Manager – Transportation Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Municipal Project Manager to lead transportation infrastructure projects for communities across southern Wisconsin. Based in our Monroe office, you will own the delivery of roadway, intersection and streetscape improvements from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets and design packages that meet client expectations and funding requirements.
• Coordinate with municipal clients, WisDOT, local utilities and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise and mentor design engineers and technical staff, ensuring quality assurance and control standards are met.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates and technical reports to support business development.
• Represent the firm at public meetings, council sessions and client presentations.
• Oversee construction administration, maintaining strong relationships with contractors and field personnel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in municipal or transportation engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Wisconsin, or ability to obtain within six months.
• Proven leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and mentor junior staff.
