Mobile Application Developer (iOS & Android) – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Mobile Application Developer (iOS or Android) to join an on‑site engineering team in New York City. You will help build a new, consumer‑facing component of a self‑directed investing platform, using modern development practices and AI‑driven tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance mobile applications for a financial investing platform.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders in an agile, on‑site environment.
• Build scalable, secure, and user‑friendly features for consumer‑facing applications.
• Leverage AI tools to improve development workflows and user experience.
• Integrate mobile apps with backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to enterprise standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 5–8+ years of professional experience delivering production‑grade mobile applications.
• Deep expertise in either Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android), but not both.
• Experience building consumer‑facing apps at scale, preferably in an enterprise setting.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, performance optimization, and best practices.
• Ability to work on‑site five days a week in New York City.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a W2 basis without sponsorship.
