About the role

The Medical Laboratory Scientist II works in the Reference Laboratory at UAMS, performing high‑complexity diagnostic testing to support patient care. This position is open to current University of Arkansas System employees, including students and graduate assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Perform reference laboratory tests and analyses according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to provide timely and reliable test results.
• Participate in troubleshooting and instrument maintenance as needed.

Required profile

• Current employee or student of the University of Arkansas System.
• Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
