Mechanical Engineer – CPI & LEPI Coordinator

About the role

The Mechanical Engineer will lead Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) and LEPI initiatives for the G3500 platform, acting as a bridge between engineering, product management, and customer support. The role combines hands‑on mechanical design with coordination of cross‑functional engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, manufacture and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.
• Analyze customer design proposals, specifications and manuals to assess feasibility, cost and schedule.
• Investigate equipment failures, diagnose issues and provide recommendations to maintenance crews.
• Assist drafters in creating structural designs using engineering software and tools.
• Coordinate and execute CPI and LEPI projects across L3 and L4 engineering teams, ensuring accurate planning, tracking and closure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
• Ability to produce sketches, engineering drawings and perform standard mechanical calculations.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer‑generated reports.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.
