Manufacturing Technician II (Cleanroom)

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician II you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The position supports the production of semiconductor chips and advanced displays that power AI and next‑generation technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to assemble, repair or test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits for availability and defect inspection, and suggest process improvements.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies and install software when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma with 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience (or comparable industry/military background).
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures and use basic hand tools.
• Preferred: Associate’s degree or technical certifications, strong analytical/problem‑solving skills, willingness to expand technical knowledge.

Required skills

• Electro‑mechanical assembly and troubleshooting.
• Use of electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Computer programming, software installation and repair.
• Operation of hand and power tools in a cleanroom setting.
