Manufacturing Team Manager

About the role

The Manufacturing Team Manager oversees and coordinates manufacturing operations, ensuring products are produced efficiently, on time, and within budget while meeting quality standards and customer needs. This onsite position in Greenwood, IN focuses on driving execution of customer orders in line with safety, quality, delivery and cost priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules, coordinate activities, and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Secure safety of people, processes and manufactured/delivered products.
• Maintain product quality through SOP audits, deviation control and line‑stop management.
• Manage operational budgets, control costs and identify efficiency improvements.
• Supervise and lead production teams, fostering a productive work environment.
• Ensure equipment functionality and schedule routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Implement health, safety, environmental and industry regulations.
• Drive performance and improvement meetings, set targets and follow‑up on results.
• Execute audits according to ALPS standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations Management.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing or production operations.
• Deep knowledge of production management, manufacturing processes and industry regulations.
• Experience with ERP or S&OP preferred.
• Ability to motivate teams, coordinate activities and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Excellent planning, scheduling and organizational abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to changing demands.

• Base salary typically ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 per year.
