Manufacturing Engineer – Composites

About the role

Helicon is building the next generation of advanced‑material manufacturing. As a Manufacturing Engineer – Composites you will own the end‑to‑end production of high‑volume composite parts, turning customer concepts into scalable, automated processes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to perform Design‑for‑Manufacturing (DFM) analyses and ensure parts are producible at scale.
• Design, develop, and maintain production tooling for composite components.
• Lead factory‑floor operations, continuously improving processes toward full automation.
• Work closely with software engineers to integrate real‑world manufacturing constraints into Argos, Helicon’s supply‑chain and simulation platform.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience designing, building, and testing composite parts from scratch.
• Proven background with high‑volume composite manufacturing processes and hydraulic presses.
• Nice to have: experience with automated manufacturing lines, machining, and 3D‑printed tooling.
