About the role
The University of Miami Health System is seeking a full‑time Manager to own the way patients, students, fans and donors find information across its digital properties. This role leads enterprise‑wide UX research, information architecture and AI‑focused content strategy, reporting to the AVP of Marketing Technology and Analytics.
Key responsibilities
- Own and operate the enterprise UX research program end‑to‑end, from study design and participant recruitment to synthesis and a searchable research repository.
- Define, govern and evolve IA frameworks—including taxonomies, navigation, URL structures and labeling conventions—across all UHealth digital assets.
- Structure content for machine consumption using schema.org markup, structured data and AI‑optimized taxonomy to improve answer‑engine visibility.
- Lead migration IA workstreams: legacy content inventory, content mapping, URL/redirect strategy and phased migration sequencing.
- Direct external partners and internal specialists, set deliverables, manage scope and ensure quality throughout IA, research and content initiatives.
Required profile
- 5+ years of experience in UX research, information architecture or content strategy with ownership of both research and architecture.
- Proven track record managing large‑scale website migrations or enterprise CMS implementations.
- Demonstrated ability to run independent research programs, including participant recruitment and panel logistics.
- Experience directing external agencies or implementation partners and delivering quality outcomes.
- Hands‑on practitioner comfortable with research platforms, A/B testing, wireframing, prototyping, analytics and crawl/audit tools.
Required skills
- Sitecore XM Cloud (content modeling, template definitions, governance).
- Schema.org markup and structured data implementation.
- AI search platforms such as Coveo or Google Vertex.
- Research and IA tools: UserTesting, dScout, Optimal Workshop, Treejack.
- A/B and multivariate testing tools, wireframing/prototyping software, analytics and crawl/audit utilities.
- Taxonomy design, URL governance and metadata management.
