Manager, Email & SMS

About the role

Tanger is looking for a Manager, Email & SMS to lead the end‑to‑end execution, programming, and optimization of its email and SMS communication channels. The role blends independent ownership with collaborative teamwork in a flexible, Teams‑driven environment that spans multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Own the programming and configuration of email campaigns, automations, and SMS programs within the Email Service Provider (ESP) and SMS platform.
• Design and maintain triggered, event‑based, multi‑step customer journeys, behavioral, transactional, and lifecycle automations.
• Build dynamic email content using HTML and ESP‑native tools, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and deliverability.
• Partner with Marketing, Loyalty, Technology, and Analytics teams to deliver data‑driven customer communications that drive engagement, traffic, and revenue.
• Continuously test, optimize, and monitor platform health and audience segmentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing email and SMS marketing programs from concept to execution.
• Ability to translate business and customer requirements into technical logic and automated workflows.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on testing, optimization, and performance metrics.
• Collaborative approach to work closely with cross‑functional teams.
