Manager, Data Acquisition

About the role

The Data Acquisition Manager will lead the identification, evaluation, and onboarding of external data sources that support LexisNexis Risk Solutions’ insurance auto and home products. This position works cross‑functionally with product, analytics, legal, compliance, finance and technology teams to bring new data assets into the business while ensuring responsible and compliant sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate external data opportunities that align with strategic product priorities.
• Build and manage relationships with data suppliers, serving as the primary point of coordination throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
• Partner with product, analytics, legal, compliance, finance and technology teams to assess and advance data initiatives.
• Conduct supplier due diligence, data evaluations and onboarding activities to meet business, operational and compliance requirements.
• Negotiate commercial terms and support contract development in partnership with legal and business stakeholders.
• Oversee transition of new data assets from evaluation through implementation and operational hand‑off.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage governance activities and address renewals or contract decisions.
• Develop business cases, recommendations and status updates for executive decision‑making.
• Ensure all acquisition activities comply with internal policies, risk standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, risk management or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum five years of experience in data acquisition, vendor management or related functions.
• Proven success negotiating contracts and managing external data supplier relationships.
• Strong ability to collaborate across multiple functional areas.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and executive presence.

What we offer

• Base salary range $95,300 – $158,800 per year (varies by location).
