Auto Claim Representative

About the role

The Auto Claim Representative is responsible for managing low to moderate personal and business auto damage claims from first notice through settlement and payment. You will work across multiple state jurisdictions, handling multi‑vehicle accidents, non‑owned vehicle claims, fire/theft, potential fraud, and related property damage.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consistent, high‑quality service throughout the claim lifecycle, including prompt contact, clear communication, and meeting commitments.
• Analyze policy coverage, apply deductibles, verify benefits, and determine priority of coverage for each claim.
• Investigate claims to gather facts, assess liability, evaluate damages, and identify exposure.
• Maintain compliance with internal quality standards, external regulations, and state‑specific requirements.
• Negotiate settlements, reserve appropriate amounts, and ensure timely payment.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of personal and commercial auto insurance policies and relevant state statutes.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to analyze complex claim scenarios and make sound decisions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
