Manager, Corporate Network Engineering

About the role

Anthropic is building safe, reliable, and steerable AI systems. The Corporate Network Engineering team owns the global wired, wireless, and edge infrastructure that connects our offices and research facilities. As the Manager, you will set technical direction, define architecture standards, and lead a small team of network engineers to deliver a production‑grade network service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Corporate Network Engineering team, handling hiring, development, performance management, and prioritization.
• Define and own architecture standards across campus switching, wireless, segmentation, out‑of‑band management, and telemetry.
• Review designs, manage risky changes, and make final technical decisions.
• Ensure reliability and operations through monitoring, incident response, on‑call rotation, and post‑incident reviews.
• Drive the transition to network‑as‑code with templated configurations, change control, staged rollouts, drift detection, and automation.
• Partner with Security Engineering, Detection & Response, Physical Security, Workplace, Real Estate, Procurement, and external partners on site build‑outs and security integrations.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in campus and edge networking, including switching and wireless technologies.
• Strong judgment on what to standardize, automate, buy, or build.
• Ability to move from detailed technical decisions to budgetary and strategic discussions.
• Proven leadership experience managing a small, high‑perform engineering team.
• Collaborative mindset to work across IT, security, facilities, and external vendors.
