About the role

The Manager, Asset Management will drive value and performance across Greystar’s diverse real‑estate portfolio. Based in San Francisco, this leadership position combines strategic vision with operational excellence to ensure long‑term profitability of assets.

Key responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and identify new investment opportunities; meet with potential clients, prepare financial proposals, and oversee the takeover and transition of newly acquired or developed properties.
• Maintain client equity relationships by providing regular reports, market updates, and detailed financial analysis, and promptly address client concerns and satisfaction survey feedback.
• Develop market and asset reviews to evaluate operational and financial results, identify challenges, and present recommendations to enhance value and improve returns.
• Ensure portfolio compliance with debt and equity providers, prepare reports for investment committees and equity partners, monitor performance, and conduct DCF financial modeling to recommend return‑optimizing strategies.
• Measure, evaluate, and report on portfolio performance, supporting data‑driven decision‑making across the asset base.
