Maintenance Technician – South Palm

About the role

The Maintenance Technician will ensure that the physical aspects of the South Palm property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time position requires weekend and on‑call availability to respond to resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, track usage, return unused items, and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document all service requests and maintenance activities accurately and promptly.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep, such as trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, and general amenity maintenance.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience, preferably in residential property settings.
• Willingness to work weekends and be on call as needed.
• Experience in plumbing is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency to navigate standard workplace software and systems.
