Maintenance Technician – Novel Nona

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join Greystar’s property team at the Novel Nona garden‑style community in Orlando. The role ensures that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by picking up trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as required.
• Support cost‑cutting initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
• Adhere to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies at all times.

Required profile

• Ability to perform a wide range of technical and mechanical tasks in a residential property setting.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation and inventory control.
