About the role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all building systems, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This onsite role supports resident satisfaction and prepares vacant units for new occupants.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
- Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
- Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
- Document all service activities accurately and promptly for tracking and reporting.
- Maintain common areas and amenities by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
- Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when feasible and minimizing waste of materials.
Required profile
- Reliable and able to work independently in a fast‑paced property environment.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and team members.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
