Maintenance Technician – Main & Clay

About the role

This full‑time position performs technical and mechanical work to ensure that the building, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and overall functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, repairs and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain grounds and common areas through trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning and painting of curbs and signage.
• Inspect contractor work and assist with routine property inspections to identify safety or repair concerns.

Required profile

• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• Valid driver’s license (required for operating a golf cart where applicable).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including on‑call evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 lb independently, 50 lb with assistance, and perform work in all weather conditions.
