Maintenance Technician (Lease‑Up)

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the property – buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas – meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This position supports a lease‑up community of 315 units, working on a Tuesday‑Saturday schedule with on‑call duties.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation and paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of property maintenance experience.
• Availability to work Tuesday‑Saturday, 9 am‑6 pm, with on‑call responsibilities.
• Eligibility for a 20% housing discount.
