Maintenance Technician II – Luxury Building Engineer

About the role

Sentral is looking for a Maintenance Technician II to support the day‑to‑day upkeep of a luxury residential property in Santa Monica. The role involves maintaining building systems, preparing vacant units for new residents, and ensuring the property meets Sentral’s high standards of appearance and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, grounds, and equipment, following OSHA and company safety policies.
• Prepare vacant rental units for occupancy, ensuring they are clean, functional, and ready for new residents.
• Conduct visual inspections of the property, report needed repairs, and respond promptly to employee and resident requests.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, keep work areas clean, and wear required uniform.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and weekend work as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of related maintenance experience or training.
• Ability to read work orders, safety rules, and maintenance manuals.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of ownership and professionalism.
• Preferred HVAC and EPA certifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• HVAC certification (preferred).
• EPA certification (preferred).
