Maintenance Technician I

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures all equipment and facility systems operate reliably, performing root‑cause troubleshooting to keep production running smoothly. You will work in a dynamic environment where daily tasks vary and require both independent initiative and teamwork.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and follow a preventive maintenance program for all facility systems and equipment.
• Operate, test, and calibrate machinery; restore, repair, rebuild, or replace faulty components.
• Study performance data to recommend and implement improvements, expansions, or additions.
• Contribute maintenance data to strategic plans and uphold production, quality, and customer‑service standards.
• Maintain a safe, healthy work environment by complying with legal codes and internal procedures.
• Repair equipment, fixtures, conveyors, and related systems; modify, lubricate, diagnose, and operate machinery as needed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED (2‑year technical degree preferred).
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated aptitude in mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, plumbing, and welding.
• Experience with automation systems and PLC troubleshooting is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Capability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and/or stand‑up reach lift.
• Successful background check.

What we offer

• Hourly pay $24.00 – $26.00 (DOE).
• Full‑time, non‑exempt position.
• Second‑shift schedule: 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm (after 2‑3 weeks of first‑shift training).
