Maintenance Technician – Canyon Creek

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical components of the Canyon Creek property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time position involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders generated from resident service requests, diagnosing defects and performing repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks across the property to reduce future equipment failures.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, and coordinating vendors or contractors as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical or technical issues within residential properties.
• Experience handling work orders and performing routine preventative maintenance.
• Capability to coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
• Commitment to following established safety procedures and building codes.
