Maintenance Technician – $32.80/hr + $2,000 Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

Join Nestlé’s pet‑food manufacturing plant in St. Joseph, Missouri as a multi‑craft Maintenance Technician. You will help keep critical equipment running safely and efficiently while supporting a team that values continuous improvement and community involvement.

Key responsibilities

• Apply basic electrical and electronic principles to install, troubleshoot, and maintain plant systems.
• Maintain and repair plant electrical equipment, including operator interfaces, PLCs, power supplies, and process controllers.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs on fans, blowers, conveyors, belts, and screw conveyors.
• Troubleshoot, calibrate, and program VFDs and PLC systems.
• Install and maintain switchgear, control wiring, and over‑current protection for three‑phase motor systems.
• Read, update, and create electrical schematics and documentation.

Required profile

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military or related environments, OR a High School Diploma/GED with 1+ year of similar experience.
• Availability to work all shifts.
