Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift (Day)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to join our plant on the first shift. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production machinery, service equipment, and building systems in a climate‑controlled environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support a preventative maintenance program and perform routine equipment checks.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, ordering parts as needed.
• Respond to emergency service requests, complete repairs, and recommend solutions.
• Assist with equipment installation and removal.
• Maintain clear communication with production regarding service issues.
• Wear required PPE, follow safety policies, and keep work areas tidy.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience troubleshooting basic electrical problems using diagrams or blueprints.
• 1‑3 years of experience maintaining electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Two‑year technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, digital, or electronic technology.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Required skills

• Electrical troubleshooting and reading schematics.
• Mechanical troubleshooting to component level.
• Knowledge of high‑ and low‑voltage wiring (single‑phase and three‑phase).
• Operation of gas and electric forklifts.
• Basic math for calculations.
