Maintenance Supervisor – The Crest at Altamonte

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees technical and mechanical work to ensure the community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and performing repairs per policies and code.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with quality and scope.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, assisting the Community Manager with budgeting and ordering.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and support cost‑control initiatives.
• Conduct safety meetings, keep MSDS sheets current and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience in property or building maintenance.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
• Strong logical problem‑solving ability and customer‑service orientation.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets and database programs; property‑management system experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (for golf‑cart operation if required).

Required skills

• EPA Type I & II or Universal certification for HVAC work.
• All state and local certifications required for the position.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and MSDS handling.
