About the role
The Maintenance Specialist will perform maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems for manufacturing and processing equipment, as well as auxiliary equipment, buildings, and grounds.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and repair all mechanical and electrical components of manufacturing equipment.
- Operate cutting and welding equipment, set up and fabricate repair parts.
- Unload, move, install equipment and operate forklifts and company vehicles.
- Record maintenance work performed and follow safety, regulatory, and environmental procedures.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Four‑year accredited apprenticeship or eight+ years of diversified industrial maintenance experience.
- Ability to read and apply blueprints, CAD drawings, electrical codes, and safety standards.
- Forklift operator accreditation required.
Required skills
- PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Forklift operation.
- Cutting and welding equipment usage.
- Blueprint and CAD interpretation.
