Maintenance Engineer Intern

About the role

The Maintenance Engineer Intern will support the maintenance team in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. You will receive training from experienced maintenance engineers while assisting with planned work activities, inventory management, and quality system initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage contractors and vendors, including qualification, monitoring, and documentation.
• Support maintenance inventory management for spare parts and instruments.
• Assist with quality system improvement program roll‑outs such as SOPs, instructions, and preventive‑maintenance task lists.
• Contribute to cGMP supplier qualification processes.
• Help optimize preventive maintenance plans for safety‑critical equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive, proactive, can‑do attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Good team player with strong problem‑solving abilities.
