Logistics Coordinator – Customs Brokerage

About the role

Expeditors is seeking a Logistics Coordinator focused on customs brokerage to ensure seamless import and export processes for our clients. You will act as a key liaison between customers, internal teams, and governmental customs agencies, delivering accurate and timely customs services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain smooth and timely customs process flow.
• Enter accurate data into operational systems and track custom files.
• Prepare client billing and ensure timely invoicing.
• Interpret import/export customs procedures and execute declarations.
• Transfer and verify customs declaration information in the entry system.
• Ensure compliance with all customs regulations.
• Support daily workflow, department metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and customs authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Professional oral and written communication skills in English.
• Exceptional customer service orientation.
• Strong organizational, needs‑analysis, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work with productivity tools and suggest process improvements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
