Loader Operator – Day Shift (1st Shift)

About the role

AHF Products is seeking a reliable Loader Operator for the first (day) shift at its lumber yard in Coalton, WV. The role involves handling logs and lumber, operating a wheel loader or lumber lift, and keeping the yard organized and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Load flat‑bed lumber trailers.
• Unload and move lumber carts.
• Sort and stack logs using a wheel loader.
• Sort and stack lumber packs with a wheel loader or lumber lift.
• Organize the lumber yard and track incoming loads.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by mill management.

Required profile

• Pass background check, employment verification and drug screening.
• Positive and verifiable work history in wood manufacturing.
• Experience operating log loaders or lumber forklifts.
• Ability to lift 20‑50 lb and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and good time‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
