Lighting Technician (Event Run)

About the role

Fever, a tech platform for culture and live entertainment, is hiring lighting technicians for an event run. The technicians report to the Technical Manager and Event Manager and maintain the technical elements of the event, including a large LED rig, moving lights, show set electrics, effects machines and other units running off a multi-GroundMA control system. The run runs from 9/21/2026 to 1/3/2027, with hours typically 14:00–23:30 plus meetings and reporting, and is done onsite for the install, event run and strike.

Key responsibilities

• Power on and off the whole site
• Perform focus checks and re-lamp and re-color as required
• Ensure all lighting equipment is in working order and carry out tests
• General maintenance
• Report any issues to the Technical Supervisor

Required profile

• Previous lighting experience, ideally on large outdoor festivals, illumination trails or outdoor experiential events
• Ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines, with time management and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Current first-aid certification is a plus
• Must be able to work in the event country: either a citizen or resident permitted to work, or holding a work visa/permit

Required skills

• Good knowledge of LED and basic electronics
• Understanding of show control systems such as OSC and Timecode
• GrandMA3-based control knowledge
• Manual dexterity and a good level of physical fitness
