Licensed Massage Therapist - Pine Street

About the role

Equinox is looking for Licensed Massage Therapists for its Pine Street club in San Francisco. The role suits therapists who enjoy a multimodal approach to manual therapy and want to add movement science to their practice. Positions are available part-time and full-time, with evening and weekend availability required.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 25-, 50-, 80- and 110-minute deep tissue, sports, prenatal and Swedish massages in a professional, comfortable setting
• Analyze each client's current needs and create a programmatic treatment plan
• Clean the room after each treatment and at the end of each shift
• Stay compliant with state regulatory boards on intake forms, waivers and SOAP notes

Required profile

• Current and valid California license or certification as a massage therapist
• Ability to generate new business and retain clients through treatment programs
• Availability evenings and weekends (part-time and full-time)
• Legal right to work in the United States

Required skills

• In-depth understanding of anatomy and movement in relation to soft tissue manipulation
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Computer literacy
