About the role
Baruch College’s Stan Ross Department of Accountancy seeks a full‑time Lecturer in Accounting to begin in Fall 2027. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor students, and contribute to departmental service.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality instruction in accounting, auditing, and taxation across in‑person, online, and hybrid formats.
- Mentor undergraduate and master’s students, providing academic and career guidance.
- Participate in departmental committees and service activities.
- Engage in professional development workshops such as Baruch’s Inclusive Pedagogy and CUNY’s Innovative Teaching Academy.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree with significant professional experience or a Master’s degree in accounting or a related field.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, high‑impact teaching.
- Ability to teach in multiple modalities and collaborate with global partners.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
