About the role

The Leasing Professional at The Preserve will drive occupancy and resident satisfaction by managing all aspects of the leasing cycle. This full‑time, onsite position works closely with the community’s marketing and renewal teams to meet revenue and retention targets. The role also ensures compliance with fair housing regulations and maintains accurate leasing records.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours, and showcase apartment features.
• Process applications, perform credit screenings and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and ensure smooth lease signing.
• Inspect units before move‑in to confirm they are ready for new residents.
• Coordinate resident move‑in activities and address any leasing‑related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate leasing records and ensure compliance with fair housing regulations.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the community and attract qualified prospects.
• Support renewal efforts by maintaining resident satisfaction throughout the lease term and assisting with renewal negotiations.

Required profile

• Experience performing sales and leasing activities in a residential community.
• Ability to interact professionally with prospects and residents.
• Strong attention to detail for application processing and unit inspections.
