About the role

A full-time Leasing Professional is needed for a stabilized, garden-style community of 220 units in Sacramento, California. The role coordinates the community's marketing, leasing and renewal strategy to reach occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals, and is open to entry-level candidates. The schedule is 8am to 5pm and 9am to 6pm.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and lease apartments: greet and qualify prospects, give tours, process applications, run credit and background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team.
• Track market and competitor conditions, and run marketing plans, referral and employer outreach programs and online advertising.
• Use on-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, traffic and resident data.
• Keep show units and the leasing office in top condition and follow concession and special programs.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents, and run the lease renewal program with renewal letters and packages.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns and requests.

Required profile

• Entry level; eligible for incentive-based bonuses.
• All state and local licenses and certifications required, and a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with help, and work in all weather; occasional travel to other properties or training; flexible schedule including call-outs on evenings, weekends and holidays.

What we offer

• Hourly pay of $22.12 - $25.00 in Sacramento, with possible weekly, monthly or quarterly bonus programs.
