Leasing Professional – Generation Atlanta

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for the Generation Atlanta high‑rise community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to move‑in, while ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase apartments to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any necessary maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials as needed.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect and resident data.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Attention to detail in lease preparation, unit inspections, and data entry.
• Ability to stay informed about local market trends and adjust leasing strategies accordingly.
• Willingness to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating weekends.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OneSite or Yardi property management software.
• Experience using online marketing tools such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Basic knowledge of credit screening and background check processes.
• Effective use of email and other digital communication platforms.
