About the role

The Leasing Professional (Floating) supports Greystar’s Houston community by driving leasing activity, resident satisfaction, and lease renewals. This on‑site role blends sales, marketing, and customer service to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments, and process applications, including credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and ensure a smooth resident move‑in experience.
• Inspect units before occupancy, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and maintain move‑in ready standards.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect and resident data.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational abilities.

Required skills
