Leasing Professional – Cypress, TX

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for a Greystar community in Cypress, Texas. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to lease signing and renewal, while ensuring resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and manage credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease documents, move‑in packages, and coordinate resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before occupancy, schedule maintenance, and maintain show‑unit standards.
• Develop and execute marketing plans, including resident referral programs and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Use property‑management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, phone, and thank‑you notes to secure leases and renewals.

Required profile

• All state and local licensing requirements must be met.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property‑management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using online marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook, and email campaigns.
• Strong ability to manage resident data and generate leasing reports.
