Lead Project Assessor – Industrial Maintenance & Operations

About the role

Lead the execution of industrial maintenance and operations projects for Bureau Veritas, overseeing on‑site assessments, technical reviews and client interactions while managing a team of project staff.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site Facility Condition Assessments, energy audits, accessibility and mechanical equipment evaluations for commercial, institutional and municipal facilities.
• Maintain the web‑based project management database and ensure accurate reporting of findings.
• Provide technical guidance, training and performance reviews to project staff across multiple programs.
• Coordinate schedules with client representatives, manage budgets, contracts and change orders, and ensure quality control of deliverables.
• Travel up to 75 % of the time to client sites across the United States, including overnight stays.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and 5‑7 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Industry certifications such as CxA, CCP, BCxP, CEM, NICET or relevant trade licensure preferred.
• Ability to work independently and lead a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software.
• Advanced use of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Experience with electronic tablet data collection in the field.
• Knowledge of facility condition assessments, structural, mechanical, civil and environmental surveys.
