Lead DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Sealing Technologies, a Parsons company, is seeking a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to build and mature its software delivery function. This hybrid role in Columbia, MD focuses on designing a secure, reproducible CI/CD pipeline and establishing operational discipline for a fast‑moving engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and own an end‑to‑end CI/CD pipeline with integrated SAST, DAST, SCA, and SBOM security gates.
• Manage Nexus artifact repositories, ensuring integrity and compliance at every stage.
• Package, sign, and validate software for deployment into offline or air‑gapped customer environments.
• Build and operate GPU‑enabled hardware labs for AI/ML testing, workload optimization, and capacity planning.
• Drive infrastructure‑as‑code adoption, reproducible builds, and set reliability, security, and compliance standards.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and 8+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proven track record of building CI/CD pipelines or platforms from scratch, preferably in fast‑moving, low‑structure environments.
• Hands‑on expertise with GitHub Actions, GitLab pipelines, Docker/Podman, Nexus, and RPM packaging.
• Strong Linux (RHEL/Rocky) administration, VMware/ESXi with GPU resource management, and networking/firewall skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
