Laboratory Technician II

About the role

CooperSurgical is seeking a Laboratory Technician II to support its fertility and women’s health laboratory operations. The role involves performing routine and specialized laboratory tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The technician will work onsite at our Livingston facility, contributing to the development and delivery of clinically relevant medical devices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and document laboratory analyses related to reproductive health and assisted reproductive technologies.
• Prepare reagents, calibrate instruments, and perform routine maintenance on lab equipment.
• Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the validation and verification of new testing methods and devices.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to data integrity for clinical studies.
• Monitor inventory of lab supplies and coordinate ordering.

Required profile

• Relevant laboratory experience, preferably in a clinical or research setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
