Labor Relations Attorney

About the role

Delta is seeking a skilled Labor Relations Attorney to support its Pilot and Dispatcher workgroups. The role involves contract administration, investigations, and grievance or arbitration support within a fast‑paced airline environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal and labor‑relations advice, opinions, and recommendations to leadership across Delta.
• Advise operational departments, especially Flight Operations, on employment policies, labor law, contract interpretation, benefits, and managerial training.
• Support grievance processes and represent Delta in arbitration hearings under collective bargaining agreements.
• Handle ad‑hoc labor‑related matters and contribute to positive employee relations initiatives.

Required profile

• Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a law firm or in‑house role focusing on labor and employment matters.
• Excellent analytical, strategic, negotiation, and dispute‑resolution skills.
• Clear oral and written communication with ability to draft sound legal opinions.
