Junior/Mid DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior to Mid‑level DevOps Engineer to join our fast‑paced, agile Technology, Marketing & Products Engineering team. You will help design, deploy and continuously improve the infrastructure services that power a platform used daily by tens of millions of users worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to design, deploy and enhance core infrastructure services such as logging, monitoring and alerting.
• Scope work, manage backlog and ensure predictable delivery of projects.
• Provide guidance on long‑range platform requirements, focusing on automation, composability and high availability.
• Develop and own standard processes for provisioning, application scaling, configuration management, capacity planning and monitoring.
• Analyze customer usage patterns to drive continuous improvement of the platform.
• Own daily operational goals and participate in on‑call rotations to keep services highly available.
• Raise engineering excellence by implementing standardized coding, testing and deployment practices.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
• Strong scripting ability in languages such as Python or Ruby.
• Hands‑on experience with Linux, networking, server and cloud architectures.
• Experience with configuration‑management tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible) and a major cloud provider (AWS or equivalent).
• Understanding of core network technologies (DNS, load balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, SQL, HTTPS).
• Proven ability to manage large cloud‑hosted systems, including auto‑scaling, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with source control, CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rotation and promote a diverse, inclusive work environment.
