Junior Software Engineer – Hybrid (4 onsite, 1 remote)

About the role

Odoo is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to join its North America support team. You will work on technical solutions that help small‑ and medium‑size businesses get the most out of Odoo’s open‑source ERP platform. The role is hybrid, with four days onsite in Brisbane, CA and one day remote each week.

Key responsibilities

• Own and resolve support tickets, addressing customer‑reported bugs and issues.
• Investigate technical problems, identify root causes, and propose short‑term fixes and long‑term improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to solve complex customer and partner challenges.
• Act as a technical advisor, communicating product value to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Maintain enterprise customer support across SaaS, PaaS, and self‑hosted environments.
• Document resolutions and share knowledge across the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
• Interest in ERP systems and business processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
