Jira Administrator – Atlassian Platform

About the role

The Atlassian‑Jira Administrator will lead the administration, engineering, and governance of Moog’s enterprise collaboration and software development platforms. You will ensure the Atlassian Data Center suite and Subversion repositories are secure, highly available, and performant, supporting both development and project management teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Atlassian Data Center applications (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Crowd) and CollabNet Subversion (SVN) repositories.
• Design, configure, and maintain projects, spaces, repositories, workflows, permission schemes, screens, issue types, build plans, and user access controls.
• Perform installations, upgrades, patching, migrations, and lifecycle management of Atlassian and SVN platforms.
• Monitor platform health, availability, performance, and capacity, and implement optimization measures.
• Implement and maintain security controls, LDAP/Active Directory synchronization, and application‑level access provisioning.
• Support security assessments, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening activities.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Atlassian products, SVN repositories, and other enterprise systems using APIs, scripting, and automation tools.

Required profile

• Technical lead experience with enterprise‑scale Atlassian Data Center environments.
• Proven ability to work closely with engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and program management teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a focus on security, compliance, and performance.

Required skills

• Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Crowd administration.
• CollabNet Subversion (SVN) repository management.
• LDAP/Active Directory integration and synchronization.
• API integration, scripting, and automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
