IT Support Specialist – Networking & Airport Lounge Operations

About the role

Plaza Premium Group is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance for its luxury airport lounges in New York. The role combines remote support with on‑site work at LGA and JFK, ensuring seamless operation of hardware, software and network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑user technical support for hardware, software and network issues, meeting SLA targets.
• Troubleshoot and maintain camera systems, point‑of‑sale devices, laptops, printers and other equipment.
• Set up, configure and maintain networking infrastructure (firewalls, switches, VPN, WAN/LAN) across outlets and offices.
• Manage inventory and tracking of all hardware and software assets.
• Create and update knowledge‑base articles, user guides and troubleshooting procedures.
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
• Analyze reported IT problems and recommend corrective or preventative measures.
• Provide training, guidance and support to end‑users.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT support role within medium or large organizations.
• ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to work after‑hours or weekends when needed.
• Ability to pass criminal background check, MVR and airport security clearances.
• Physical ability to lift up to 15 lb and travel up to 20 % for projects.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
