IT Support Specialist

About the role

BIG is an international architecture and design firm seeking an IT Support Specialist to join its New York office. Reporting to the NYC IT Manager, you will ensure smooth operation of hardware, software and network services for a creative, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain desktops, laptops, peripherals and video‑conference equipment.
• Set up new workstations, laptops and related hardware.
• Perform network and server troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Create, deploy and update software installations across the office.
• Provide remote assistance to BIG’s global offices.
• Document hardware and software inventory and changes.
• Support onboarding of new employees with IT equipment and access.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Previous experience in an IT support role within a professional office.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to multitask.
• Positive, proactive attitude with strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English and comfortable working in a collaborative, creative environment.
