IT Support Specialist I – Full‑time Helpdesk Role

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time IT Support Specialist I to join our team of medical and dental professionals. The position is based in Marion County and requires daily travel to five sites across Marion, Citrus, and Sumter counties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide helpdesk support and resolve end‑user issues to satisfaction.
• Monitor and respond promptly to tickets submitted through the IT helpdesk.
• Track project timelines and complete project‑related tasks.
• Document projects and operational procedures thoroughly.
• Install, test, and configure new PCs, software, and network devices.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, software, and licenses.
• Escalate issues to the Network Administrator when needed.
• Set up and deploy PCs for new employees using standard images and software.
• Support Active Directory, Exchange, and other Microsoft platforms.
• Work with Ethernet cabling, routers, and switches.

Required profile

• Associate degree in computer science or related field.
• At least two years of experience as a computer support specialist.
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently without supervision.
